Farewell To The Loaf

We would like to thank all customers old and new that have made our 33 years at the Loaf a surreal, funny, painful and enjoyable time. But it is time for us to move on. We have been given opportunities which we would be stupid not to take. So we have chosen not to renew our lease and Saturday 16th June will be our last day.

We are easily accessable by road or rail with Stapleton Road Railway Station a minute away and M32 Junctions 2 and 3 less than 5 minutes away and bus stops (48, 48a, 49, 24) at both entrances to St. Marks Rd.

Our secluded garden is possibly one of the best pub gardens in Bristol. A lush, peaceful area which makes you feel like you are 100 miles from the inner city.

Our Draught offering consists of 4 lagers (San Miguel, Mahou, Holsten Vier & Tarka) 5 ciders (Thatchers Gold, Haze, Dry & Cheddar Valley & Black Rat) and 3-4 cask ales and a keg beer. We have Otter 'Ale' and Purity 'Mad Goose' as our core beers and rotate the third and fourth.
